Jimmy and I have been married just over 7 years (all of them pure bliss), seriously we are just the most perfect couple (wink wink)!! Recently I had someone ask me what we did on our first date, and I have to say that I kind of dread that question because you see, Jimmy proposed on our first date! **Read A if you don't know our back story ***Read B if you do and you are tired of hearing it over and over and over and over......
A) For those that don't already know this, Jimmy and I have known each other since we were 9 and when his family lived in Vegas. They moved when we were 12 and we still managed to keep in contact off and on over the years. Well in July of 2002 he called and we began chatting and catching up, he flew Alexis and I out to see him a few weeks later, then while we were visiting he decided that he couldn't let me leave without putting a ring on my finger. So it was on our first date that he proposed but we had known each other for a little while before hand. Ok now continue onto B.
B) Well after I said yes and before Lexi and I headed back to Vegas we took our engagement pictures since we weren't sure when we would have the chance again. We included Lexi in many of the shots and I love looking back on them and seeing how our family began, just the three of us! Also I find happiness in seeing myself before I looked like a short, round Oompa-Loompa!

I love the pictures! Just to let you know, I personally will never tire of hearing your story! (I guess that could be because I feel like I had a hand in it!) I hope that we can get together the next time I am out there (not sure when that is going to be though)! Oh, and there is NO WAY that you look like a "round ompa-lumpa" now either!!! Love ya cuz!
